How I handle your information
Your planner holds personal details about your wedding and your guests. Here is what I keep, who can see it, and what you control.
What is in your planner
What you add: your task ticks, guest list, budget, ceremony and reception notes, vision board photos and links, seating chart, wedding day timeline, packing and customs lists, contacts, document links and notes.
What I already have on file for your wedding: your names and email addresses, your resort and destination, your key dates, and the guests who have booked rooms in your block (their names, room type and dates, plus a yes or no on whether their flight details are in).
Flight details, booking numbers and card details are never shown in your planner.
Who can see it
- You and your partner. You each sign in with your own email and see the same planner.
- Me. I can open a view-only copy of your planner to help you or to fix a problem. I can't change anything in it that way.
- Anyone you choose to share with. Sharing a page or your plan makes a link that anyone who has it can open, so only send it to people you trust. You can replace or turn off a link any time.
- No one else. I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for ads.
Signing in
There's no password. I email you a six digit code that works once, for 10 minutes. Staying signed in uses one cookie that keeps you signed in on that device for up to 14 days, and signing out removes it. I don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Other services involved
- Render is the hosting company that runs the planner and stores your information.
- Resend delivers the sign in emails, so it sees your email address and your code.
- Google Fonts supplies the text styles, so Google sees that your browser asked for them.
- Acuity Scheduling runs the calendar on the Contact Kathryn page and has its own privacy practices.
- Exchange rates: the customs list asks a public rate table for today's rates. It sends nothing about you.
Your choices
You can ask me to correct anything, delete your planner, or remove something you added. Email kathryn@kptravelgroup.com and I'll take care of it.
I keep your planner until 12 months after your wedding, then I delete it. If you'd like it deleted sooner, just ask.
Only add guest details you're comfortable keeping here. Anything you add about your guests is kept the same way as the rest of your planner.
